Tiger Woods sent fans into a frenzy after posting a photo of himself with his family at the Masters dinner, but this annual dinner was different due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Woods would normally be celebrating his 2019 triumph at Augusta National on Tuesday hosting a champions dinner at the club following the tradition set by Ben Hogan in 1952.

But with the current climate this was made impossible with social distancing rules in place around the world.

However, Woods went ahead with his dinner but in quarantine with his girlfriend, Erica Herman, his daughter, Sam, and his son, Charlie.

“Masters Champions Dinner quarantine style. Nothing better than being with family,” he wrote.

In the photo, the masters replica trophy was the centrepiece.

Fans went wild over the quarantine dinner with his family.

Woods originally picked the same dinner menu as the last time he was the host, way back in 2006, which was when he won.

While there is no confirmation it was the same dinner menu at home, the photo appears to show sushi, steaks and fajitas on the table.

The 44-year-old hasn’t played since 16 February at the Genesis Invitational.
