There’s terror ahead in tonight’s Coronation Street, as Kelly Neelan’s (Millie Gibson) kidnap ordeal continues.
The ITV soap, which airs tonight at 8pm, previously showed Kelly on a mission to return her late dad Rick’s (Greg Wood) dodgy money to everyone he conned over the years.
But when she found herself meeting the menacing Ross, Kelly ended up in grave danger.

Ross called a mate, Kieron, who captured Kelly and locked the teenager in a dark cellar. He wanted payback over Rick’s misdeeds; but when Kelly’s guardian Gary Windass (Mikey North) realised she was missing, he went to the police.
Kelly was ordered to dictate a text message letting him know she was safe, but Gary knew something was up when Kelly asked him to let her mum, Laura (Kel Allen), know she was okay.
Little did the thugs know that Laura passed away months ago from cancer, and that this was a clever way of sending out a distress signal.
It wasn’t long before Gary received a call from Kieron, demanding £50,000 for Kelly’s safe return. But as Coronation Street continues, will Gary be able to come to her rescue?
Unfortunately, as far as the ransom money is concerned, Gary is only able to come up with just under half the required funds.
But, desperate to rescue Kelly, he heads off to meet the kidnappers. He soon hands over the £24,000 to Ross and Kieron, who threaten to make Kelly’s life hell unless Gary finds the rest of the money.

Luckily for her, Gary has put a tracker in the bag of cash – an idea surely formed thanks to poor wife Maria Connor’s (Samia Longchambon) recent stalking ordeal.
As he forces his way into the cellar, Gary and Kelly are all set to escape when Kieron arrives, crowbar in hand.
A fight soon breaks out, leaving Kelly shocked over Gary’s actions. But what exactly does Gary do? Will the pair make it out alive - and if they do, will it be the result of Gary taking drastic action?
Remember, Kelly still has no idea that Gary killed her father, and so is more than capable of murder. Will he commit another horrific act, this time in order to save her?
It’s a tense instalment of Corrie that you won’t want to miss, as talented star Gibson proves once again why she picked up this year’s British Soap Award for Best Young Performer.
Tune in to Coronation Street tonight at 8pm on ITV to find out if Gary and Kelly can escape Kieron's clutches.
