Police say the driver, a 47-year-old man, told officers he had been "mixing his dinner while driving" when they noticed the Holden Equinox travelling in an "unusual manner" in Tweed Heads on Friday night.
When officers searched the vehicle they allegedly seized 600 MDMA tablets, 25g of liquid LSD, 600 LSD tablets, some cocaine, cannabis and $106,000 in cash.
They allege the passenger, a 22-year-old woman, was also found in possession of drugs.

The woman, meanwhile, was charged with resisting an officer in execution of duty and possessing a prohibited drug.
She's been granted conditional bail ahead of an appearance in Tweed Heads Local Court in July.
