Concerns for missing NSW twin babies

There are concerns for three-month-old twins who were last seen two days ago in the NSW Northern Rivers region.

Police are appealing for public help to find the babies who were last seen with teenage family members in Victoria Street, Grafton, about midday on Monday.

The fraternal twins - a boy and girl named Lekaun and Lenikawa Hippi - are believed to be travelling with the teens.

Concerns are held for their welfare, and police from the Coffs/Clarence Police District are trying to find them.

The twins are described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen the babies or the relatives they are believed to be with are urged to contact police.
