Commuter chaos amid train issues in Sydney

Train commuters were hit with major delays after an issue at a busy station.

Commuters were warned to expect delays shortly after 8am on Tuesday due to a person near the tracks at Redfern.

The issue was resolved about an hour later.

The Airport & South Line, Bankstown Line, Inner West & Leppington Line, North Shore Line, Northern Line, and Western Line were all impacted.

“Stops may change at short notice and services may be delayed,” Sydney Trains said.

“Please listen for announcements and check information screens and transport apps before getting on trains.”
