Coles forced to recall more ice cream over metal fragment fears
Coles has been forced to recall more of its ice cream over safety concerns.
The supermarket issued a recall of its Coles Mini Classics Vanilla Ice Cream 360ml with the best before date of April 17, 2020.
The product has been on shelves in Queensland and New South Wales since Wednesday.
“The recall is due to the potential presence of metal fragments. Customers should not eat these products,” Coles said in a statement.
“Food products containing metal may cause injury if consumed. Customers who purchased any of these products should return it to their nearest Coles supermarket store for a full refund.”
