Coles and Woolworths stores added to Covid warning list

Coles and Woolworths customers have been warned to watch for virus symptoms after several of the supermarkets giants’ outlets were added to the list places people infected with Covid visited in Sydney.

Passengers who boarded a busy bus route operating during the morning and evening peak periods from Sydney CBD have also been ordered to get tested and isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.

NSW recorded eight new locally acquired cases on Tues with seven linked to the Avalon cluster and one remaining under investigation, however Premier Gladys Berejiklian said authorities were still “concerned” as the number of Sydney venues visited by positive cases continues to grow.

NSW Health updated advice overnight to include about 50 new locations.
