'Laneway' selling for almost $70,000 in NSW

A laneway between two houses on the NSW Central Coast has raised a few eyebrows after it hit the market.

It’s just 2.6 metres wide by 50.3 metres long, but Lot F Bonville Street at Coffs Harbour is being listed for $69,000.

“Unclear what you would use it for but everything or any block of land has a use and value to someone,” its listing on realestate.com.au reads.

Despite its small size, listing agent Mark Killian is confident it will sell.

“I’ve sold a few unusual listings like this and they always sell because everything is worth something to someone,” he told news.com.au.

Mr Killian added he had sold similar properties before, with one at Pillar Valley in Northern NSW snapped up by a kayak club for storage.

On Twitter, people were perplexed as to what could be done with the land.

“Veggie patch?” one woman tweeted.

One man suggested it could fit a “single lane” lap pool, while others suggested it would be ideal for cricket bowling.

“Sounds like the premise for an episode of Grand Designs,” another man tweeted.
