Outspoken federal coalition backbencher George Christensen has called for Immigration Minister Peter Dutton to refuse a visa to an American neo-Nazi.
White supremacist Mike Enoch has been billed as the headline speaker for fascist convention DingoCon in Sydney in July, run by Australian far-right movement The Dingoes.
Speaking on ABC Radio on Monday, Mr Christensen said anyone spreading messages of hate shouldn't be allowed into Australia.
"Like radical Islamic sheikhs that come here to spread messages of hate, these people shouldn't be allowed into the country," he said.
Enoch's website is littered with praise for Adolf Hitler and calls for a white America.
Tickets for DingoCon have been advertised for $88, with the number 88 a colloquialism in Nazi circles for "HH" or "Heil Hitler".
Mr Christensen said it was "insanity" and "anti-Australian" to be "parading someone who slaughtered six million people, who Australia was fighting against".
In February Mr Christensen appeared on The Dingoes podcast, which he says he now regrets.
"If I had known that (their white supremacist views) there is no way I would have done that interview."
