Chrissie Swan stuns in pink as she reveals she can cook 16 meals for just $50
Television host Chrissie Swan picked out a stunning pink dress with a bold print for The Project on Monday night.
Designed by Australian label Anna Antal and retailing for $1,069, the shimmering pink and gold printed Italian lurex dress looked incredible on Chrissie, who is filling in part time while regular host Carrie Bickmore is on holidays.
With batwing sleeves and a tie belt at the waist enhancing Chrissie's figure, the elegant piece dazzled from every angle.
Sharing a photo of the look on Instagram, Chrissie thanked her friend and designer Michelle Tucker, while turning the comments off to keep attention on the dress rather than how she looked. This didn’t stop fans from flocking to The Project’s Facebook page to shower Chrissie with praise.
“Beautiful colour on Chrissie, she’s stunning,” one person commented.
“Loved this tonight! Gorgeous you are Chrissie,” another added.

While discussing a viral TikTok video on The Project that night, Chrissie revealed a thrifty way to stock up on cheap, home cooked meals.
The hosts were talking about an influencer who clocked up over 1.7 million views by saying she set up 16 dinner dates just so she could get free meals.
While some commenters on TikTok thought the dates were a great idea, Chrissie couldn’t believe how ridiculous it sounded, claiming that she can easily cook 16 meals for just $50.
“It seems like a lot of effort to avoid cooking at home. I did a few sums – that’s 16 meals out,” she began.
“You could make a spaghetti bolognese for $50 - 200 grams of meat or so per serve. 16 serves – and then you don’t have to leave the house!”
The other hosts thought this was amusing, with Waleed Aly chiming in, “You really don’t like dates, do you?”
Chrissie fired back, “Well I don’t wanna be stuck with somebody boring for an hour…she’s gone for the food but then she has to put up with the boring conversation!”.
Peter Helliar summed up the ridiculous situation by declaring, “She’s like the Costco version of the Tinder Swindler.”
Chrissie's calculations do check out, as three kilos of mince meat at $13 a kilo will set you back $39, while three bottles of passata and three 500g packets of pasta will cost about $14, so you could just scrape by with a little over $50.
