A fast-food customer has revealed his disappointment after discovering staff insulted his attire on his order’s receipt.
Daniel Graham was accidentally handed a a staff ticket, identifying him as the customer with the “ugly sweater”.
Taking to Twitter, he shared an image of the receipt alongside a picture of himself in his jumper giving the middle finger, presumably to the staff member at the Chic-fil-A restraurant he visited in Arizona, US.
“It was NOT MY PLEASURE TO EAT CHIC FIL A TODAY,” he wrote last week.
His tweet quickly went viral, receiving over 148,000 likes and thousands of comments.
Many were divided over whether the jumper was as bad as staff had claimed.
“But this sweater is actually so cute and I need it,” one person said in its defence.
“They weren’t wrong though,” another wrote, agreeing with staff.
Others couldn’t quite work it out themselves.
“I mean, it is ugly but it’s also cute, if that makes sense?” one person wrote.
And while the jumper debate continued, many also questioned Mr Graham’s food order.
“30 nuggets and only ONE large fry??? Your nuggs (sic) to fry ratio is off,” one person proclaimed.
“All derm nuggs and no drank (sic)?” another asked.
Mr Graham later clarified he shared the nuggets with his girlfriend and he had already purchased a drink.
