The 'Call My Name' star, 37, rarely posts on social media with her last Instagram post being shared on June 2, 2020, marking a ‘blackout’ as part of an online protest over the death of George Floyd.
But checking in with fans, Cheryl has returned sharing two pictures from an unknown shoot.
In the first snap, Cheryl is smiling at the camera in an oversized shirt, while in the second she can be seen in a full-length mirror surrounded by stylists and her make-up team.
Among the group is Anna Hughes-Chamberlain and hairdresser Larry King.
She simply wrote alongside it: “'We back. **all covid tested”.
A similar sentiment was made by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole, who named herself after the pop icon.

Alesha Dixon also sent her love, writing: “Missed you”.
Cheryl was last in the public eye back in January 2020, starring as a dance captain on BBC’s now-axed competition series, The Greatest Dancer.
Since lockdown, Cheryl has been focusing on raising her son, four-year-old Bear, who she had with ex-boyfriend Liam Payne.
The couple keep the toddler away from the public eye, and have never posted his face publicly.
However, the performer has teased her return to pop music after being announced as a headliner for Mighty Hoopla festival in south London this September.
She’ll join the likes of Eve, Atomic Kitten and Gabrielle at the event.
