Chelsea XI vs Hull City: Confirmed team news, predicted XI and latest injuries for FA Cup clash

Frank Lampard made nine changes for Chelsea’s FA Cup third-round win over Nottingham Forest and is set to rotate once again for their trip to Hull City.

Fikayo Tomori was a key figure in the early part of the campaign but has started just four of their last 12 matches in all competitions. He is set to be given a chance at centre-back alongside Kurt Zouma while despite Cesar Azpilicueta’s desire to play, youngster Tariq Lamptey is set to play at right-back.

Azpilicueta may get a chance at left-back but Emerson is a more likely candidate.

A midfield reshuffle is possible with N’Golo Kante a candidate to be rested with either Mason Mount or Ross Barkley coming in. Christian Pulisic’s ongoing adductor problem means Pedro may get a chance in place of Willian.

The Blues are yet to learn the full extent of Tammy Abraham’s ankle injury but regardless he is not available this weekend and Michy Batshuayi is set to deputise.
