Tiemoue Bakayoko is ready to end his Chelsea nightmare if AC Milan can agree a deal to sign him.

The midfielder has struggled since joining from Monaco for £40million in 2017 and has been told he has no future at Stamford Bridge under Frank Lampard.

Chelsea’s hopes of offloading Bakayoko this summer have been boosted after Milan opened talks over a deal for the midfielder.

Milan are keen on a loan with an option for a permanent deal next summer but Chelsea want to sell Bakayoko now. The 25-year-old spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Milan and he said: “Everyone knows that Milan is in my heart.”

Bakayoko made 42 appearances under Antonio Conte in his first season at Chelsea despite struggling following his move to England. Maurizio Sarri made it clear he was not part of his plans and the French midfielder is not part of Lampard’s plans.
