She’s not shy when it comes to posting controversial photos to her Instagram page and comedian Chelsea Handler has done it again, shocking fans by posting a snap in a tiny face mask bra.
While working out with her trainer, Chelsea donned the miniscule bra, which she had coined together by taking two blue and white face masks and tying them together in the middle.
The 45-year-old also donned a mask over her mouth for the sweat session, which she paired with a pair of grey tights and trainers.
“This is, by far, the best photo you have ever posted,” actress Kristen Bell wrote in the caption.
Other fans agreed, saying: “You look amazing” and one person even calling it “The new #2020bikini”
While fans were focused on her DIY sports bra, the photo was actually accompanied by a gushing birthday post to her trainer, Ben Bruno.
“Today is my trainer’s @benbrunotraining birthday. I met him 6 years ago and immediately thought—I hate weight training. I was convinced I would only get bigger and bulkier.I hated working out and would cancel more often than I showed up,” she started.
“Then one day, something clicked and I started to see the strength my body was gaining and the fierceness that came with getting your body grit to match your mental grit.”
“One day I started to cry in a workout, and he sat with me and talked it through, and helped me with a situation I had to deal with. Then he checked in on me later that day.
“So, for a straight guy who’s into dumbbells, he is a good man, and the best trainer I’ve ever had.
I’m 45 years old and finally have the body I’ve been trying to get since I was 25.
“Thank you, Ben. Thanks for loving my dogs even when they don’t reciprocate. And thanks for putting up with me and my moods—when I don’t reciprocate.”
Chelsea has been a strong advocate for wearing face masks on her Instagram page.
In July, she posted a video from the same workout to her Instagram page, alongside the caption: “Wear a mask!”
At the beginning of August she uploaded a photo to her page showing her on the beach, wearing a white bikini and a face mask.
“Safety first”, she captioned the photo, in which she could also be seen wearing a black helmet.
