The winning Powerball numbers are in for the $40 million jackpot, but the division one prize has once again been left untouched for the fourth week in a row.
The seven division one winning numbers were 10, 23, 9, 2, 19, 29 and 8, with 14 as the all-important Powerball.
One in six Australians had bought tickets hoping to take home the top prize to tonight’s draw, however the biggest prize won were four division two winnings of $169,495.55 each.
The absence of a huge division one win means the prize pool will jackpot to a whopping $60 million next week.
“After there were no division one winners tonight, the jackpot jumps to $60 million and could well be on its way to the top once again,” The Lott spokesman Matthew Hart said.
“So far this year, Powerball has crowned eight division one winners who have pocketed more than $300 million in prize money.
“We can’t wait to welcome our ninth Powerball division one winner for 2020. Perhaps it will be next week with the $60 million draw.”
