Charges after shots fired in SA home

A man has been charged after shots were fired inside an Adelaide home during an altercation.

Police say no one was injured in the incident at Angle Vale on Monday night which came after the 34-year-old had gone to the property and confronted the resident.

It's alleged he discharged a gun inside the property before leaving in a white van.

The suspect was later detained at a property at Wingfield where detectives found a rifle, a sawn-off shotgun and a hydroponic drug crop.

A handgun was also recovered from a neighbouring home.

The man was charged with possessing a firearm, discharging a firearm and affray.

He was refused police bail and was expected to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
