CCTV shows mother driving towards children in a fatal 'game of chicken'

Horrifying vision has been released of a mother playing a deadly ‘game of chicken’ with her young children, that led to the death of her son.

In the video, mother Lexus Stagg can be seen driving in reverse in a white SUV as her three children run toward her.

In a shocking move, the 26-year-old then drives forward, hitting her son. According to police reports, he was struck twice.

Three-year-old Lord Renfro became stuck under the tyre of the vehicle and later died from his injuries that evening.

Ms Stagg reportedly told police she was playing a game with her children and thought she had hit a speed bump.

Prosecutors in Harris County, Texas charged Ms Stagg with criminally negligent homicide on June 11.

The mother of five could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
