CCTV captures moment before shocking attack in apartment lift
A search is underway for three men in connection to a shocking assault inside an apartment block lift in Melbourne.
Victoria Police have released CCTV footage of three men who may be able to assist them with their inquiries. The CCTV shows the men entering an elevator at Hoddle Street apartment block in Collingwood on September 29.
One of the three men allegedly began punching a 56-year-old male already inside the lift in an unprovoked attack, police said.
The victim sustained multiple facial injuries including swelling and bruising.
The offender is described as Caucasian, approximately 30-years-old, 170cm tall with short dark hair and a short beard.
He was wearing dark top and pants and blue Nike runners.
