She’s one of the most well-known faces on our TV screens but fans of The Project may have done a double take last night when Carrie Bickmore appeared on the show.
The 39-year-old has gone for the chop, cutting off her long blonde locks in favour of a cropped do’ post lockdown in Melbourne.
Carrie took to TikTok where she wrote: “Goodbye Lockdown. Goodbye Locks” on a video of her epic transformation.
Later, she took to Instagram to upload some snaps from The Project, writing: “Sometimes a change is as good as a holiday and there hasn’t been many holidays this year!”
Admirers flocked to the comments section to gush over the TV host’s new look.
“HULLO, LOVELY FACE! (And neck. And guns, tbh.) Zoë Foster Blake wrote.
“So chic,” Bec Judd commented, while Brooke Broney left a love heart emoji on the post.
Others said Carrie had inspired them to transform their own locks and “cut away 2020”.
Carrie has been documenting the weeks in Melbourne’s lockdown with her three children on her Instagram page.
