Three missing children have been found safe after the car they were in was stolen from Sydney’s southwest.
A woman parked her car in the car park at the intersection of Denison Street and Studley Street, Carramar, when a man approached the car and drove away about 12.30pm on Wednesday, police said.
At the time, the woman was standing next to the vehicle and the three girls, aged eight, seven and two, were sitting in the rear.
The man was seen driving north along Denison Street.
“There are extreme concerns for the safety of the children,” police said at the time.
The children were then found safe and well about 3pm nearby in Bennett Street.
They were assessed by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and released into the care of relatives.
