Cannabis worth $1 million located in Vic

A man has been charged after nearly $1 million worth of cannabis was found at a home in Melbourne's outer southeast.

More than 300 plants were discovered at the unoccupied property on Maisey Road in Gembrook on Friday.

About $45,000 in cash was also seized from the 44-year-old Berwick man's car.

He faces numerous charges including cultivating and trafficking a commercial quantity of a narcotic plant and was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on January 10.
