A bushfire in the township of Gingin, north of Perth, has been brought under control by firefighters after posing a possible threat to homes.
An emergency warning was issued for the fire on Wednesday afternoon, which was later downgraded to the advice level.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the fire was stationary and controlled, but not contained.
Fifty volunteer firefighters arrived to control the fire and patrol the area, DFES said.
Residents were told to stay alert and watch for signs of fire, and to be careful when driving in the area.
Roads that were closed in the area have reopened.
The DFES confirmed there were burn-offs in the area on Wednesday afternoon.
