Bus crashes after hitting bull near Broome

A bus carrying 16 passengers has tipped on its side after hitting a bull in Western Australia's far north on Thursday night.

The bus was travelling east on the Great Northern Highway about 90km out of Broome when it hit the bull, leaving two passengers with suspected broken limbs and two others with lacerations.

Passengers requiring further medical treatment were transferred by St John Ambulance to Broome and Derby Hospitals.
