The final match of the Premier League gameweek sees Spurs head to Burnley on Monday night.

Jose Mourinho’s side won in midweek in the Europa League, but Tottenham’s league form has been patchy so far.

The manager will need to decide on whether Gareth Bale is ready to start in the league as Spurs hope to continue their free-scoring form.

Burnley have managed a single point so far this term, but that draw and clean sheet last time out offers some hope moving forward for improvements.

What is the team news?

Ben Mee and Jack Cork are the two senior players out injured for Burnley again. Phil Bardsley is unavailable after a positive Covid-19 test. Both Matt Lowton and Erik Pieters face late fitness tests and either could start right-back if fit to play.

Spurs are without Japhet Tanganga, while Eric Dier also needs a fitness test to determine if he’s ready to return. Other than that, Spurs have a full squad to choose from, including new signing Joe Rodon.
