A Queensland mother who hasn't been seen for more than a month after leaving home wearing only pyjamas has sparked a social media search effort in the tens of thousands.
Amy Schulkins' wife Rebecca said her unexplained disappearance was out of character, and the couple typically didn't go more than a few hours without speaking.
"She was a bit distant that day to be honest," she said during a public appeal for information on Thursday.
"She was in a funny mood, something that I hadn't seen before, ever, in our four-and-a-half years together."
Ms Schulkin, 36, took her wallet and left without saying where she was going on Wednesday, December 30.
The mother-of-five was seen on CCTV in her white Nissan Patrol, registration 257VTN, driving on Lower King Street, Caboolture and heading towards the Bruce Highway and Bribie Island interchange just before midnight.
Investigations suggest she visited a Morayfield Road address in Burpengary after leaving a John Street residence in Caboolture South the same night, but prior to being captured by the CCTV camera.
Despite a number of reports there have been no confirmed sightings of her or her car since, and she has not used her bank account.
A search team for Amy Schulkins Facebook page currently has more than 26,000 members and Rebecca thanked everyone who has tried to find her.
"From sending prayers, printing and distributing flyers and stickers and battling the elements searching for our beloved Amy," she said.
She described her as bubbly and funny and as a loving wife and mother.
Amy is described as Caucasian, around 165cm in height, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
She has a distinctive arm sleeve tattoo in memory of a family member.
Police have not uncovered any evidence of foul play, but Detective Senior Constable Michael Amey said the lack of information was "very unusual".
"It's out of the norm in relation to other missing persons investigations. I would have thought we would have had some sort of confirmation by this stage, so that is concerning," he said.
Police are appealing for witnesses with dashcam footage who were travelling along the Bruce Highway Caboolture or the D'Aguilar Highway between 11:40pm on December 30 and 1am on the 31st of December to come forward.
