Brooke Blurton rumoured to be joining her fourth reality TV show

She came third on The Bachelor, appeared on Bachelor in Paradise and made history as the first Indigenous and pansexual Bachelorette, and now Brooke Blurton is rumoured to star in a brand new reality TV show.

A source tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the 27-year-old podcast host is the latest celebrity to sign up for the very first season of The Challenge Australia.

The show, which is tipped to air on Channel Ten in November this year, has been described as a cross between Survivor and Ninja Warrior and sees reality stars pitted against each other in various extreme challenges in the hopes of winning an enormous cash prize of $200,000.

There have been 37 seasons of The Challenge in the US since it premiered in 1998, and in February 2022 three international versions were announced: Argentina, United Kingdom, and Australia.

The winners of each international series will then compete in The Challenge: Global Championship on Paramount+, which has described the show as “the first-ever globally connected competition series”.

Brooke, who remained tight-lipped when Yahoo Lifestyle reached out for comment, joins a growing list of Bachelor stars rumoured to be appearing on the show.

So Dramatic! has reported that Ciarran Stott, Renee Barrett, Jessica Brody, Kiki Morris, Mary Viturino and Megan Marx have all joined the cast.

Bachelor in Paradise fans would remember that Ciarran dated Renee before going on season three, coupled up with Jessica in the first few episodes of the show and later dumped her to be with Kiki until filming ended.

So Dramatic! also claimed that Darvid Garayeli, Brooke’s Bachelorette winner who she split from in January, has signed on - however, he’s denied involvement.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail photographed Brooke’s Bachelor co-star and Life Uncut host Brittany Hockley arriving at the airport on Sunday when the contestants were said to be flying out.

Who else is competing?

Other reality TV stars who are rumoured to be competing include MAFS’ Cyrell Paule, Love Island winner Grant Crapp, I’m A Celebrity’s David Subritzky, Jack Vidgen and Emily Seebohm, Big Brother’s Tully Smyth, Tim Dormer and Marley Biyendolo, Survivor’s Brooke Jowett and Johnny Eastoe, and influencer Suzan Mutesi.

Jessika Power was also said to be a part of the cast, however, she revealed last week that she would no longer be competing on the show.

The OnlyFans creator took to Instagram to announce that the US executives had a change of heart due to a ‘creative decision’ and dropped her from the show just days before filming started.

“I had my contract signed, bags packed, everything ready and received a message from my manager stating that the American executives had made a creative decision not to include me on the show despite believing I am ‘good talent’,” she wrote.

“Sometimes in TV these ‘creative decisions’ happen and that’s okay, because it’s always an honour to even be considered let alone film a new television show.”
