A Brisbane sonographer has been charged with rape after allegedly preying on three patients.
The McDowall man was arrested on Monday and charged with three counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
The offences related to the 58-year-old's examination of three women at a hospital on Brisbane's southside between August 2018 and June 2020.
The women afterwards complained his conduct was outside the parameters of normal scan procedures.
The man has not worked at the hospital since June 2020, but police are calling for witnesses or any other potential victims to come forward.
He has been refused bail to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
