The trial of two men accused of raping a woman as she staggered home from a night out at a Brisbane pub is set to continue.

Ryan David George and Jack Scott Turner Winship pleaded not guilty at Brisbane District Court on Monday to sexual assault and three counts of rape over the alleged April 2011 attack of the medical student.

In opening her case, crown prosecutor Dzenita Balic told the jury the woman was staggering towards a bus stop on her way home when she was lured into an alley where there's no CCTV.

It's alleged the pair then attacked her.

Throughout the trial, friends of the alleged victim as well as people who stopped to help her are due to be called to give evidence.
