Brighton vs Crystal Palace preview: Premier League starting XIs, prediction, TV, live stream and highlights

Brighton and Crystal Palace renew their rivalry in the Premier League at Amex Stadium today.

The hosts remain without a win across any competition in 2020 and sit only four points above the bottom three, while Roy Hodgson's visitors eased any lingering relegation fears last weekend as Patrick van Aanholt's goal secured a first victory of the calendar year against Newcastle.

Honours were even last time these two sides squared off at Selhurst Park in December, when Wilfried Zaha cancelled out Neal Maupay's second-half effort late on.

Here’s what you need to know ahead of the match…

Possible starting XIs

Brighton (4-2-3-1): Ryan; Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Burn; Propper, Mooy; Gross, March, Trossard; Murray

Crystal Palace (4-3-3): Guaita; Ward, Dann, Cahill, Van Aanholt; Kouyate, Milivojevic, McArthur; Ayew, Benteke, Zaha

Expert view: Alan Smith

"With Watford to come next weekend, Palace could secure safety with a couple of back-to-back wins.

"In reality, they’re not going down anyway, but I’m sure that Roy Hodgson would welcome a pressure-free end to the season in order to plan for improvement next time.

"They certainly need it, especially in attack where Hodgson has lacked any real quality.

"Brighton, in fact, boast a lot more in the shape of Glenn Murray, Neal Maupay and Aaron Connolly. Because of that, Graham Potter’s side go into this one as favourites."
