Bride incorporates unusual obsession into her wedding
It seems there’s at least one blow-up at every wedding.
On the Sunshine Coast on Saturday there will be 113,000 of them – and the happy couple wouldn’t have it any other way.
A pumped up party has been one Noosa bride’s dream since she was 12.
“To be honest, I love balloons, I’m totally addicted to balloons, I’ve been playing with balloons and working with balloons for most of my life,” Donna Egan admitted.
Even her bridal dress is inflatable.

Like any wedding, the price has ballooned, and the groom doesn’t want to know the cost of having 113,000 balloons at his wedding.
The “enchanted forest”-themed set-up will be open to the public for three days after the wedding to raise money for the environment.
“Balloons are rubber, they come from a rubber tree, they’re not plastic,” groom Jason Cochrane said.
“They break down when they go in the ground.”
An uplifting ceremony seems guaranteed for a bride who really did blow her big day out of proportion.
