Brand to be complete by year's end: Ciobo

An advisory council tasked with developing an Australian national brand should be finished by the end of the year, Tourism Minister Steven Ciobo says.

The group will work with government and industry to develop the brand, which will be used to promote Australian products, services and experiences.

"I hope that they will have worked together with our creative industry to develop a great brand for Australia ... something we can market Australia to the world with," he told reporters in Adelaide on Wednesday.
