Boy shocked as money pours out of ATM he is fiddling with
An 11-year-old boy is being praised for his honesty after money poured out of an ATM he was playing with.
Jack Greenhalgh, from the UK, was pressing the buttons on an ATM at a supermarket when money started coming out of the machine.
According to the Manchester Evening News, £400 ($A715) came out of the machine, but Jack didn't pocket it for himself.
"I thought the machine was out of order and I just pressed a couple of buttons messing about," Jack said, according to the Manchester Evening News.
"Next thing it just started beeping and all of a sudden lots of money started coming out. I thought, 'is this some sort of magic ATM or something'."
Jack told a cleaner and a security guard about the money.
The security guard had been on the lookout after a customer said she didn't get her money from the machine.
Staff at the supermarket told Jack and his mother Donna the woman received her money later.
Jack admitted he would never take such a large sum of money, saying doing so would be "wrong".

The supermarket, Asda, gave Jack a £10 ($A17) voucher for doing the right thing.
However, people were so impressed with Jack's honesty, a GoFundMe was set up to give back to Jack.
"Jack handed in £400 that a cash machine spat out, he honestly handed it in to Asda. Who gave him a £10 voucher," the GoFundMe said.
"Let’s see if we can do better than that for him."
In less than a day, £460 ($A822) was raised for Jack, however, everyone who donated was refunded.
The GoFundMe explained the money would be going to Jack and his friends, though the donations were turned off at the request of Jack's mum.
In a second update, it was explained all the money raised would be refunded.
"This is what Jack's family want," the GoFundMe said.
