Boy's hilarious poem about famous dad goes viral

Poetry can often be misconstrued in search of a deeper meaning – this was not one of those times.

US actor Rob Delaney, who stars in British sitcom Catastrophe, took to Twitter to share his five-year-old son’s masterpiece that quickly left social media users in tears.

“The cat is a cat. Dogs barck and woof. My dad poos every morning,” the poem reads.

Among the hundreds of comments, Delaney’s fellow actor Bill Corbett congratulated him on his “healthy poo routine”.

“Perfection,” Author Giles Paley-Phillips commented.

“Is that a hai-poo?” another user asked.

“That’s why I love kids,” one woman wrote.
