Boys, 10 and 13, charged over car yard rampage trashing 37 cars

Two Perth boys have been charged with criminal damage, accused of going on a rampage in a car yard, trashing 37 different vehicles.

Using their feet, and also concrete slabs, they smashed as many windscreens as they could.

The boys, who are aged just 10 and 13 and can’t be identified for legal reasons, can be seen laughing as they make their way through the Maddington Toyota car yard.

The carnage started in the early hours of Sunday morning when 23 cars were damaged.

CCTV shows the boys moving from car to car in the Toyota dealership, stomping on windscreen after windscreen.

They then returned later in the day to collect clothes they’d left behind before returning yet again in the night time to damage another 14 vehicles.

All up, the damage bill is expected to exceed $100,000, with Toyota estimating it will take at least a month to repair all 37 cars.
