Boy critically injured by fallen tree branch


A boy has been critically injured by a fallen tree branch in northwest Victoria.

The primary school-aged boy was hit by the branch at Serpentine, near Bendigo, about 6pm on Sunday.

He was flown to The Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition and was listed as stable on Monday.

A teenage girl was also taken to Bendigo Hospital in a stable condition with head and leg injuries.
