Urgent search for two-year-old boy missing for more than a week

A two-year-old boy missing in Queensland has sparked an urgent appeal for help from police.

The boy, who has not been identified by name, is believed to be in the Cairns area and has been described as having a fair complexion with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The boy was last seen on November 7 in Cairns, but he usually lives more than 1700km in Ipswich.

He was last seen travelling with a man and woman who are known to him, but police are concerned for his welfare due to his young age.

Police are urging anyone who has seen the boy or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Queensland Police confirmed to Yahoo News Australia the young boy was still missing as of 11am Saturday.
