Body found on mountain believed to be missing camper
A body has been found after a large-scale search for camper Damien Roadley, who went missing in bushland in northern NSW 10 days ago.
The 38-year-old had not been seen since he reported an out-of-control campfire with his mobile phone on August 1 from Blue Knob Mountain near Nimbin.
Family members reported Mr Roadley missing when he failed to return home on August 2.
A body was found at the south-west point of Blue Knob Mountain about 11.45am on Saturday.
The body is yet to be formally identified, but NSW Police say it is believed to be that of Mr Roadley.
The bushland search operation involved police, the dog unit, police rescue unit, the SES, Rural Fire Service, the Westpac helicopter, the Volunteer Rescue Association and the Queensland police dog squad.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
