Body found after boat capsizes in NSW lake

An 87-year-old man has died after his boat capsized in a lake in southern NSW.

Emergency workers were called to Braemar Bay, west of Cooma, about 9.30am on Saturday after reports a small boat flipped.

Water police, divers, helicopter crews, lifesavers and State Emergency Service volunteers joined the search, police said.

Police divers found the Victorian man's body about 4.30pm.
