Bodies of two young women found in Sydney unit

The bodies of two women, aged in their 20s, have been discovered inside a Sydney home.

Emergency services were called to the Canterbury address, in the city’s south west, around 9.30am on Tuesday.

It followed a concern for welfare report.

Soon after arriving at the Canterbury Road unit, near Dibbs Street, police found the bodies of two women.

While they are yet to be formally identified, it’s believed both are aged in their 20s.

Detectives have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths, while specialist forensic officers continue to comb the crime scene.
