Bindi Irwin celebrates Grace's first Christmas with milestone news: 'Two teeth'

Bindi Irwin's daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell has rung in her first Christmas looking cute as a button surrounded by her famous family at their home at Australia Zoo.

The nine-month-old was perfectly festive in a red frilly dress emblazoned with 'My First Christmas' on the chest in gold and a matching red bow headband.

Grace's first Christmas

Grace's uncle, Robert Irwin, snapped a sweet photo of her seated at the foot of a lit-up Christmas tree, a big grin on her face and her arms waving excitedly in the air.

Mum Bindi and dad Chandler Powell both shared the gorgeous pic on their respective Instagram accounts, gushing in the caption about their baby girl's milestones since she arrived on March 25.

"Celebrating 9 months with this cutie on Christmas Day. There is so much happening in Grace Warrior’s life," the caption read.

Then came a list of all her achievements, including, "Crawling, Waving, High fives and Clapping" as well as, "playing with wrapping paper".

Grace also now has two teeth and is "eating solids like a champion". She can "[get] herself from laying to sitting" and "Loves saying 'Dada'".

Her parents also mentioned her "best friends" were of the animal variety, being Fergo the cassowary chick and Igloo the tortoise.

Uncle Robert, who recently turned 18, shared a touching Instagram video of his big sister Bindi and Chandler introducing Grace to their Christmas tree.

The inquisitive tot clearly enjoyed the twinkling lights and decorations, reaching out to touch the branches from her father's arms.

"This is too much!!!!! Grace you are the cutest human being to ever exist," he wrote in the caption.

Grace's animal encounters

In the leadup to Christmas, Grace has been following in her animal lover parents' foosteps by getting up close and personal with a tiny cassowary chick named 'Fergo'.

"Two cute chickies," proud mum Bindi captioned a pair of pics she uploaded to Instagram.

"Meet Grace’s new best friend, Fergo, the cassowary chick. They absolutely love each other! We are so proud of our breeding program to protect this endangered species," the 23-year-old added.

Just a day earlier, Grace got up close and personal with some red kangaroos with her Florida-born dad, Chandler Powell by her side.

"Red roo mornings with my buddy," Chandler, 25, wrote on his Instagram along with an adorable selfie of the pair.

Living at Australia Zoo clearly has its perks for Grace, who's already been face-to-face with giant tortoise 'Igloo' as well.

Her zookeeper mum and dad are making sure to get Grace into the family business as early as possible, just like Bindi's own parents Terri and the late Steve Irwin did with her.

Bindi paid tribute to her father when choosing Grace's middle name, with 'Warrior' being a nod to Steve's legacy as the 'most incredible Wildlife Warrior'.
