Billie Eilish, 21, and Jesse Rutherford, 31, break up after seven months of dating
Billie Eilish, 21, has reportedly split from Jesse Rutherford, 31, after seven months of dating.
The pair were last seen in public together at this year’s Coachella music festival in Indio, California in April while Eilish notably attended the 2023 Met Gala solo.
A representative for the Grammy Award winner confirmed their split to Page Six on Wednesday.
They told the outlet: “We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends.”
The Standard has contacted representatives for Eilish and Jesse Rutherford for comment.
The pair first sparked dating rumours last October when they were spotted kissing outside a restaurant in Los Angeles.
The PDA came days after they were pictured holding hands at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.
The Lovely singer appeared to confirm their relationship on social media soon after she posted a video of The Neighbourhood lead singer on her Instagram.
The pair then appeared to make light of the criticism surrounding their 11-year age gap when Eilish dressed up in a baby costume and Rutherford dressed as an old man.
A month later, they made their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles in November, where they arrived in matching Gucci looks and posed together under a quilted blanket from the Italian fashion house.
That same month, the Happier Than Ever hitmaker opened up about her relationship with Rutherford in her sixth annual video interview with Vanity Fair.
She shared at the time: “I managed to get my way to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f***ing f***er alive, but pulled his ass.
“Jesse Rutherford, everyone! I pulled his ass – all me! I did that s***. I locked that motherf***ker down.”
Eilish added that she was “really excited and really happy” about her relationship with the fellow musician.
