Bikie charged with possessing child abuse material
A high-ranking member of a bikie gang has been charged with possessing child abuse material.
Detectives investigating the shooting murder of 29-year-old Mehmet Yilmaz on September 9, 2016 allegedly found the material on a computer seized from a Millers Point apartment last year.
A 41-year-old man, who is a high-ranking member of the Lone Wolf outlaw motorcycle gang, was arrested at an apartment complex at Millers Point shortly before 10am on Thursday.
He was named by The Daily Telegraph as Erkan “The Wolf” Keskin, reportedly one of the most feared bikies in the country.
He was charged with possessing child abuse material and refused bail. He will reappear in Central Local Court later on Friday.
