Bikers sought after fatal crash in NSW

A 72-year-old man has died after coming off his motorcycle in central west NSW and police are calling for five other motorcyclists who were nearby to come forward.

The motorcyclist was found by the road at Growee, east of Mudgee, about 3pm on Saturday after he came off his bike and slammed into boulders.

He was airlifted to Sydney's Westmead Hospital but died shortly after 6pm.

Police say they want to speak to about five other motorcyclists who were in the vicinity when the man crashed.

Later on Saturday a 34-year-old driver was killed in a separate crash in the same region.

He died after his four-wheel drive left the road and ploughed into trees at Barry about 5pm.
