Beware of major royal wedding scam

Generally, the internet is an oh-so wonderful place, especially in times of a big event like the royal wedding.

The hilarious memes of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and new internet sensation Bishop Michael Curry which emerged are just priceless.

Even some fun quizzes and games surrounding the royal nuptials have emerged, but social media users need to be aware in some of these supposedly fun games they may be giving over vital information to hackers.

One particular game called ‘What’s your royal guest name?’, is putting online at users at risk to hackers.

By following this “bit of fun” in the tweet above, many could be putting themselves at risk for revealing key answers to secret security questions, vital for hackers to use to get into different online accounts.

As one clever Twitter user pointed out, the game results in people sharing “the answer to 3 popular security questions”.

If you have taken part, be sure to change your passwords and security question answers to be safe.
