A Beverly Hills doctor has been charged with drugging and raping an employee — and investigators believe there could be more victims.

Babak Hajhosseini, the founder of the Wound and Burn Centers of America, was arrested on Nov. 26 and charged with sexually assaulting an unconscious person, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Hajhosseini, 42, was released on bail on Nov. 29, but was indicted by a grand jury on Dec. 23 on two counts of rape by use of drugs, one count of raping an unconscious or asleep person, one count of oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance, and four counts of oral copulation of an unconscious or asleep person.

The LAPD alleges that Hajhosseini, who also worked as a visiting physician at Catalina Island Health on Catalina Island, would entice employees to his residence by offering overtime payment.

Hajhosseini has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The doctor's attorneys did not immediately respond to a request for comment. But his legal team at Werksman, Jackson & Quinn LLP issued a statement to KTLA, calling the charges "false and salacious," and contending there is "extensive evidence" to prove Hajhosseini's innocence, including polygraph test results.
