Some folks are weekend warriors; some are weekend shoppers. If you're in the latter category, good news: Amazon has some solid deals running on some great tech products. Below I've rounded up my top picks, all of them discounted and in stock as of this writing. That can change on a moment's notice, though, so if you see something of interest, I recommend grabbing it.

Wyze Cam v3 with Spotlight: $35 (save $18)

This version of the Wyze Cam comes with an LED light attachment.

The Wyze Cam v3 home-security camera is already a killer deal at $35; this is a very rare chance to get the spotlight add-on at no additional charge.

The camera itself is a cute little Wi-Fi job that can work indoors or outdoors; it's weatherproof for the latter, though of course you'll need a place to plug it in. Either way, you get 1080p video streamed to your phone; two-way voice communication; night vision; free cloud storage; and lots of other perks.

I'm a huge fan of these cameras, making this deal too good to pass up.

Facebook Portal 10: $99 (save $50)

The Facebook Portal 10 has its own stand, making it an easy fit wherever you want to place it.
If you want a device that's equal parts smart screen and photo frame, the Facebook Portal is a solid choice -- especially when it's on sale for $99. (Photo: Facebook)

The Facebook Portal is a smart display designed with video calls in mind, though it can do a lot more. It originally sold for $179 (and more recently $149), but right now Amazon has the Facebook Portal for just $99. That ties the lowest price on record.

Available in black or white, the Portal resembles a digital photo frame (and of course that's one of its capabilities), one that can work in both portrait and landscape orientations. It supports video calls via Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp and Zoom. Its fixed-frame camera's digital panning and zooming function will help you stay "in the frame" as you move around.

Roku Streambar: $99 (save $30)

Even if you don't need the Roku part of this sound bar, $80 is a superb deal on a sound bar! (Photo: Roku)

The Roku Streambar kills two birds with one stone — or, as my more enlightened friends like to say, feeds two birds with one scone. First, it's a soundbar, something every TV owner absolutely, positively needs (because built-in TV speakers all point down or back, exactly where your ears aren't).

Second, it's a Roku streamer, able to sling everything from Netflix to HBO to YouTube. That's great if you're upgrading a "dumb" TV or seeking an alternative to your existing streaming setup. (Example: Perhaps you don't like the user interface afforded by your LG TV.)

The Streambar is a top-rated product, featuring 4K streaming and a voice-powered remote. I own one, and it's terrific.

Apple AirPods 3rd-gen: $140 (save $39)

Is it Black Friday again already? Not quite, but Apple's latest AirPods are back on sale for only $140, tying that Black Friday low.

These true-wireless earbuds are for folks who don't like the feel of AirPods Pro and similar 'buds, which sort of nestle into your ear canals to create a noise-isolating seal. Consequently, you don't get any noise-cancelling here, but you do get a fit that some users definitely prefer.

You also get Apple's legit-cool spatial audio feature: When you're watching, say, Netflix on your iPhone, the sound seems to come from in front of you, even when you turn your head. Unlike previous-generation AirPods, these are sweat-proof and water-resistant and come with a case that supports wireless charging.

Amazon Fire TV Omni Series 43-inch: $285 (save $125)

Need a new TV for your den, office, bedroom or some other spot where mid-size is the right size? Look no further: For a limited time, the Amazon 43-inch Fire TV Omni Series is on sale for $285. That's a hefty $125 off and the lowest price on record. Lower, even, than Black Friday.

The Omni Series is notable for a number of reasons, not the least of which is Amazon's baked-in Fire TV interface. This affords access to not only every major streaming service but also a nifty selection of games and apps. And here's the big news: Zoom recently joined that roster. Big-screen video calls, anyone?
