Ben Cousins bailed after arrest over alleged RVO breach and drug possession
Former AFL star Ben Cousins has been bailed with "strict conditions" after being arrested in Perth for allegedly breaching a restraining order and drug possession.
The troubled former West-Coast star was arrested in the suburb of Canning Vale following the alleged breaches.
The 38-year-old was in police custody on Tuesday after being refused bail overnight.
He will appear in Armadale Magistrate's Court today charged with possession of methamphetamine and two charges of breaching a violence restraining order.
During his prime he captained the West-Coast Eagles and won the Brownlow Medal in 2005.
In 1996 he was named the AFL Rising Star.
He played a key part in the 2006 premiership-winning team.
