Boob at BBC watches woman strip naked in background of late-night bulletin
The BBC has accidentally broadcasted a racy moment from an employee’s computer while a news anchor was reading the bulletin.
Unknown to Sophie Raworth, who was presenting to 10 o’clock bulletin, a colleague was watching a video of a woman taking her clothes off during the broadcast, according to The Sun.
Raworth was speaking about England’s cricket test series against South Africa.
But in the background on a computer screen, a woman was taking her clothes off.
While the newsreader spoke about England and South Africa’s final test at Old Trafford, the vixen in hot-pink undies on the monitor removed a black tank top.
The woman’s bra then came off, exposing her breasts to viewers at home.
A man, wearing headphones, sat and watched with his back turned to the news desk.
It’s not known if the man knew the station was broadcasting.
But a TV source told The Sun the employee’s actions didn’t go unnoticed.
“This has gone down like a lead balloon at the BBC,” the said.
“It is totally unprofessional. It beggars belief a sex scene should be played live on air. The employee is on borrowed time when bosses catch up with him.”
The gaffe didn’t go unnoticed by users on social media either.
“Did I just see boobs on News at Ten?” one user tweeted.
It couldn’t have come at a worse time either for the network.
Hours earlier the BBC accidentally aired footage of a woman exposing her breast during a live report at Sidmouth Folk Festival in Devon.
The crew reportedly failed to spot her pulling her top up.
