A baby has been found dead at a daycare centre in Brisbane.

An investigation has been launched after a one-year-old boy was found dead at a daycare centre in Brisbane’s east.

Emergency services were called to a Wakerley address about 3.30pm on Monday.

The baby was declared dead at the scene, with paramedics saying it’s believed the baby suffered a medical episode, according to the ABC.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
